A repository appears in ProtoMap after its first scan. To open one, press ⌘ K (Ctrl K) and pick it, or choose Repositories in the workspace’s view selector and select it. Its details open in the detail sheet.

Row Meaning
Remote URL The repository’s origin remote, which identifies it. Every clone of the repository shares it.
Primary branch The branch whose scans join the shared graph.
Last commit The commit of the latest scan you see.
Last scanned When that scan ran.
Languages The share of each language in the scanned files, such as Go 86% · Protocol Buffers 14%.
Missing results Languages whose analysis failed, if any. Their services and calls are missing from the graph.

The remote, branch, and commit link to the repository’s Git host when ProtoMap recognizes it, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.

Below the summary, the repository’s services, the services it calls in other repositories, and its dependents and dependencies are listed, with File Statistics: the files and lines scanned in each language.

Scan History lists the repository’s scans, newest first: when each ran, its branch and commit, the CLI release that made it, and how long it took. Visibility says whether the scan is Shared, in the graph everyone sees, or Private, seen only by the person who ran it. You see only your own private scans.

The primary branch is the remote’s default branch, such as main, until an Owner or Admin changes it. To change it, edit Primary branch in the summary with Change Primary Branch. Scans of other branches stay private to the person who ran them.

Owners and Admins can remove a repository from the shared graph with Remove in its details. People’s private scans of it are kept.
